Are your private security operatives fully licensed and registered in Nigeria?
Yes. Peak Global Security Limited is fully licensed by the Ministry of Interior through the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). All our security operatives undergo mandatory vetting, background verification, and operational training in compliance with national private security regulations.
What background checks and vetting procedures do guard recruits undergo?
Our rigorous 5-stage vetting process includes national identity verification (NIN), police character clearances, home address verification via physical inspection, continuous guarantor verification, and medical/psychological evaluations before any guard is deployed to a client site.
Do your security guards carry firearms?
Under Nigerian law, private security guard companies are not permitted to issue firearms to civilian guards. However, for high-risk locations, VIP escorts, or armed asset protection, we collaborate directly with armed police personnel (MPU/SPU) integrated alongside our private security protocols.
How fast can guards be deployed to my location or facility?
For standard corporate, residential, or industrial contracts in major hubs like Lagos and Abuja, deployment typically takes between 24 to 48 hours following site risk assessment. Emergency guarding deployments can often be mobilized on shorter notice depending on availability.
How do you monitor guards on duty to prevent sleeping or absenteeism?
We utilize a combination of digital Guard Tour Verification Systems (NFC/QR checkpoint logging), 24/7 Control Room call-in schedules, automated duress monitoring, and unannounced patrol visits by mobile Field Supervisors throughout day and night shifts.
What happens if a guard is absent, sick, or unfit for duty on a shift?
We maintain a dedicated pool of standby relief operatives. If an assigned operative reports sick or fails to check in during shift handover, our Control Room immediately dispatches a relief guard to ensure your site is never left unmanned.
Can I request a replacement if I am unsatisfied with an assigned security operative?
Absolutely. If a guard's performance, conduct, or suitability does not meet your expectations, notify your account manager or Control Room, and we will arrange a replacement within 24 hours at no additional charge.
What is your protocol during active security incidents or emergencies?
Operatives are trained to initiate immediate panic alerts via our Central Control Room. Control room operators immediately trigger armed mobile rapid response teams and coordinate directly with local law enforcement (Nigeria Police Force) and emergency services.
